The Research Data Alliance (RDA) 27th Plenary Meeting (P27) takes place in-person, in London, United Kingdom, 6-8 October 2026.
RDA Plenary Meetings are the RDA’s flagship community events, organised for its members. Held twice per year, these events bring together the RDA's unique global community of data professionals including scientists, librarians, technologists, and policymakers. Plenary Meetings help move the RDA community forward to advance open data sharing and reuse across disciplines, technologies, and countries. This year, several members of the NERC Environmental Data Service, representing all of our constituent data centres, will be attending. Some are presenting posters, and others getting involved in the organisation and chairing of various sessions; both 90-minute breakout RDA Interest Groups and 40-minute Birds of a Feather (BoF) sessions.
