Join DataCite for their first Open Hours of 2025! The theme of this Open Hours is metadata assessment and improvement. To begin, Maria Gould (Product Director) will introduce DataCite's vision and priorities for the year ahead. Community members will report on their metadata assessment and improvement efforts, followed by an interactive discussion to gather feedback and ideas.

Questions discussed will include:
- What does metadata quality mean to you?
- Do you have plans to improve metadata quality?
- What challenges do you face in assessing or improving metadata?
- How do you currently conduct metadata analysis?
