The week will celebrate the broad range of practices which make research more accessible, transparent, reproducible and visible.

The theme for this year is ‘Open Research: Open Culture’, with a series of events taking place across the week. The GW4 Alliance universities consist of the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff and Exeter. All events are open to all GW4 academics, staff and researchers, with most also accessible to a wider audience, including those from institutions outside GW4, international participants, and members of the public with an interest in open research. Events are designed to showcase the benefits of open research, and ways to adopt open research practices across GW4.
