Ensuring Scientific Quality and Integrity in the Age of AI: Infrastructure and Dynamic Policy
ICSTI invites members and STI colleagues to the 2026 Annual Conference, Ensuring Scientific Quality and Integrity in the Age of AI: Data, and Dynamic Policy. The two-day event will include a member General Assembly, business meeting, and a day of workshops free and open to all. This year’s conference will explore the technical, legal, and governance frameworks needed to safeguard research quality, integrity, and equity as artificial intelligence becomes embedded in scientific information systems.
The event will feature two open workshops: “Analysis of Scientific Text: Strategies and Use Cases,” focusing on services and infrastructure for textual data and technical approaches to identifying bias; and “Trust, Integrity, and Governance for STI in the AI Era,” addressing the strategic alignment on governance, accountability, and policies for trustworthy STI services.
