With the deepening of scientific research and the increase of interdisciplinary collaboration, scientific data has become a crucial element in driving scientific research innovation. However, the diversity, complexity, and ever-growing volume of data pose significant challenges to data management, sharing, and analysis. To address these challenges, strengthening the construction of scientific data standards and the application of technology becomes particularly important.
Against this backdrop, CAS is cooperating with CODATA to support the International Training Workshop on Scientific Data Standards and Technology. The upcoming event will be facilitated by Chinese National Committee for CODATA, CNIC of CAS, National Basic Science Data Center. Uniting the joint efforts of these organisations, the 2024 International Training Workshop will focus on exploring the construction and application of scientific data standards, as well as the innovative application and best practices of data technology in scientific research. Qualified trainees will receive funding support to attend the onsite training (November 4th to November 15th, 2024, Beijing, China).
